- Describe a time when it has it been difficult for you to forgive someone. Has it ever been difficult to receive forgiveness from someone? Why?
- How do we sustain the flow of the forgiving grace of the Lord in our lives?
- How often do you place judgment on others? Are there people in your life that you continually condemn? Why?
- Most of us want others to pay for their wrongs, yet Jesus has already paid for those things with His life. Who do you relate to in Matthew 18:21-35? Why? We know that Jesus paid the “wrongs” of even your worst enemy. Are you keeping “a list” of who has wronged you and what they did?
- Read and discuss Ezekiel 36:25-27.
- Think through the implications of the following statement: We have to give up our right to be right.
- Have you experienced the freedom that is found in the wholeness of the forgiveness and reconciliation of Jesus Christ?
